Lucas Group has partnered with our client in Broomfield on their search for a VP/Controller.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Implement scalable processes & systems
- Coordinate corporate tax reporting and preparation of tax returns with outside tax accountants
- Lead system/ERP selection and integration
- Work with customers and suppliers on payments and terms
- Research complex accounting transactions, partnering with CFO and external advisors to establish and document the Company’s position
Skills Needed:
- Retail, Food & Beverage and/or CPG industry experience required
- ERP system conversion and implementation experience preferred
- Success if a highly transactional environment
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required, CPA preferred
