Role Overview

Lucas Group's client is seeking a Vice President of Sales to help create the internal processes and structure needed for their rapidly growing organization. A successful candidate for this position will have at least 15 years of experience working in a technical environment with at least 5 years of experience in leading a national or international sales team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a senior level Sales leader to make an impact on a growing environmental services company that truly believes in their mission of clean air, clean water and clean soil.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of our client's sales organization as it evolves into a more sophisticated model that will expand services and geographic locations; in short, be a change agent
  • Build relationships with senior leadership
  • Forge strong working relationships with co-workers to help execute the sales strategy
  • Build the sales organizations with a “hunter” mentality while instituting infrastructure, and process changes focused on generating greater organic growth
  • Teach employees how to generate leads, develop clients, sell and close solutions across business lines
  • Lead strategy development processes for organic growth and bring the required strategic market and competitive knowledge necessary to achieve the sales plan based on market demand and the competitive landscape
  • Manage the relationships with the current and future customer base in order to create new ways to add value for customers through add-on services currently not offered
  • Lead, hire, and develop direct reports to ensure that the sales organization has a deep bench of capable management talent

  • Strong chemical or other technical background

  • Salesforce implementation and compliance
  • Territory planning
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Experience running a sales organization with atleast $50M in revenue
