We are looking for a scrum master who is a change agent to drive software development agile teams to deliver business value and enjoys challenges in making process improvement. You will have the opportunity to work with a leading-edge IT organization with top talent and multiple technologies to address some of the most challenging IT issues facing companies today. Must have the ability to manage competing demands with professionalism and a win-win attitude. Key Areas of Responsibilities: • Act as a Scrum Master to lead key initiatives to deliver project objectives for medium to large sized agile projects • Facilitate Iteration Planning/Sprint Planning/Points Planning, Handle Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement/grooming, Retrospectives, Sprint Presentation/Demos with team and Product Owner/stakeholders Maintain Partner Facing ATIs • Assist key business users (product owners) with backlog creation, grooming and prioritization • Identify and remove impediments to prevent distractions • Maintain and publish agile metrics (e.g. velocity and burn-down) • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Stakeholders to facilitate release management across teams to coordinate release scheduling • Maintain software release schedule and act as a liaison between teams to ensure proper communication • Serve as a coach while empowering team self-organization and self-management • Cultivate robust and sustainable working relationships between business and technology teams to foster a cross-functional team environment • Promote and evangelize Agile across the organization • Make recommendations for continuous improvement to enhance effectiveness • Adhere to internal SDLC and review processes and standards Qualifications • 2 years minimum experience as a Scrum Master to manage Agile projects with Agile software development methodologies, specifically Scrum, Lean or Kanban • Experience in leading process improvement and/or change initiatives, especially as it related to software development is a plus • Self-motivated driver able to make progress despite obstacles and to solve problems • Strong time management skills and sense of timeliness in meeting commitments • Ability to understand technical issues at a high level • Demonstrated aptitude for acquiring knowledge and skills
