The Senior Manager, Fulfillment Center is the site leader for the fulfillment center. This leader is responsible for safety, efficient inventory control, movement of all components, assemblies and finished goods in the fulfillment center in order to achieve production schedules and customer delivery expectations. Essential Job Functions • Plans, budgets and schedules all materials activities for Warehouse Operations other than purchasing. • Ensures timely and accurate pick, pack, custom logo and shipping of all orders as a Same Day Shipper; Ensures Demand Pull systems are being maintained and adhered to. Ensures the accurate storage, inventory, and distribution of finished goods and raw material. Partners across-locations to ensure that all orders are shipped on same day status. • Works in close collaboration with the Operations Leadership team, a variety of external suppliers and freight companies, including FEDEX/UPS and LTL carriers as required to maintain same day shipping status. • Ensures international shipping documentation is in order for product sent to overseas markets. • Manages inventory management databases including the receipt, recording and delivery of all purchased materials. • Maintains accurate inventory transaction records including daily cycle counts and to perform root cause analysis. • Management responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance, policy administration and other matters related to employment. • Responsible for continued process improvements and gained efficiencies. Prepares status reports for use by management. • Ensures compliance with Quality System Requirements. • Responsible for assuring the safety of employees on the manufacturing line including the responsibility to perform Hazard Assessment Surveys on all job functions, establish specific training requirements for each and ensure that each of their employees are properly trained and have a clear understanding of the hazard(s) of their responsibilities. • Perform internal audits and host external audits of the Company’s environmental health and safety plans and implement corrective actions based on findings. • Serve as liaison for all health and safety regulatory agencies, State Departments of Health, OSHA, state, county and federal permitting agencies, EPA, Air Pollution Control, and the like. • Partner with Human Resource team on the interactive process when determining return to work accommodations. • Review and recommend plans and specifications for machinery, equipment, processes, or procedures to determine if all health and safety precautions have been included. Provide ROI and risk analysis as required. • Administer hazardous materials program to include management, training, maintenance of safety data sheets (SDS), disposal and record keeping. • Ensure proper recordkeeping requirements in support of health and safety plans and procedures ensuring regulatory compliance. In partnership with HR. • Investigate accidents to minimize recurrence. Confirm the maintenance of appropriate records and assist in preparing appropriate reports, according to OSHA requirements of accident and injuries. Contribute to the preparation of the OSHA 300 Log. • Serve as the Security Officer for the company, building access, surveillance cameras, and other similar matters.

 

Qualifications •

Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 8+ year’s relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Relevant experience typically includes materials, inventory control, warehouse, distribution, logistics and freight, and manufacturing date systems. • International Shipping experience advantageous. • Knowledge of Lean methodology and Demand Pull systems preferred. • Knowledge of warehousing and forklift operations; safety, and business practices. Warehouse Worker/Forklift Certification required. • Knowledge of warehouse equipment operation, and usage of computerized information management systems for warehousing, ideally Oracle required. • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred. • Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word and Excel capabilities. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems
