Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead the design and buildout of software for client’s business problems
- Work with other teams to review and optimize project requirements
- Define and create high level architectural specifications to ensure ease of use with existing systems or software
- Provide senior level technological support
- Build a collaborative work environment through mentoring other team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3 + years related experience working on projects of all sizes
- Advanced Knowledge of: Ruby; Rails; Java; .NET; SOA; Database; Agile Methodologies (Extreme Programming or Scrum); relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL; SQL Server); Linux
- Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
