Lucas Group has partnered with our client on their search for a Senior Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the real estate industry with a growing real estate developer. Ideal candidate will have a good accounting foundation and be eager to learn and grow in the profession.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly close including various reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and financial reporting packages
- Full cycle Accounts Payable
- Assist Controller as needed including cash forecasting, trend analysis and software upgrades
Skills Needed:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Knowledge of US GAAP and understanding of financial statements
- Attention to detail and strong time management and problem solving skills
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree Accounting or Finance
- Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience as a Staff Accountant
