Lucas Group has been engaged by a software development client to fulfil a need for a Senior Accountant. This role is in the NW Houston area and will be a contract for 6 months with potential for hire.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and records
• Responsible complex for General Ledger accounts’ maintenance and reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset accounts and reporting related to it
• Payroll full cycle management
• Oversee the work or staff accountants and other staff

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field a plus
• 5+ years of experience in accounting
• Experience with NetSuite highly preferred
