Lucas Group has partnered with our Technology client in Houston on their search for a Principal Network Architect.
What You Will Do:
- Develop roadmap for the company network architecture to help improve business
- Create detailed guides for the architecture of the network
- Study new technology and industry trends to identify improvements that can be made for the business
- Make improvements to existing network architecture
- Lead the design process to manage existing tech
- Monitor the usage of the network
Skills Needed:
- Ability to comprehend current and future needs for the network
- Network Technologies used: WAN, LAN, MPLS, WLAN, switching, routing, call center)
- Heavy SD-WAN experience
- Azure
- AWS networking
- Strong communication both verbally and written, will need to do presentations for C-level leadership occasionally
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or related field preferred; Advanced degrees are
- Work Experience: 15+ years in Network Technology and Technical Architecture experience
