Lucas Group has partnered with our financial client in Irvine, CA on their search for a President. This company is the premier CPA firm servicing organizations in the legalized medical and recreational cannabis industry. They are seeking a leader with a servant's heart, who has the ability to increase revenue, and the knowledge to scale this leading edge company.

This leader will drive the vision for the organization. They will be responsible for managing cashflow, product vision, team building, brand management, investor management, corporate development in the industry, and ensuring operations are running smoothly. This position is responsible for managing revenue, expenses, and external financing to maintain consistent growth of the business. The position will clearly define and regularly redefines the company’s product vision and effectively communicates this vision to the team. The President is responsible for ensuring the right people are in the right places in the organization. Builds and maintains a strong brand. Responsible for deciding if, and when, to take on shareholders, their stake in the company, as well as deciding the nature and frequency to update each tier of investor. Additionally, managing the company’s place in the industry by building relationships with key players in the industry and deciding if, and when, to bring on partners and/or mergers and acquisitions. Finally, ensures that the company is effectively delivering it’s product to clients.


  1. Management Responsibilities:
    1. Responsible for recruiting and hiring
    2. Sets goals and objectives for each direct report
    3. Assigns tasks for direct reports
    4. Runs weekly all-hands meeting
  2. Sales:
    1. Oversees the VP of Content Media, Regional Manager of Business Development, and members of the sales team
    2. Oversees digital content development
    3. Attends industry marketing events
    4. Responds to direct inbound sales calls
    5. Develops new services/product development
  3. Operations: Maintains oversight over the head of each service line to ensure operations and client services are still providing exceptional client services for our clients
  4. Internal Operations:
    1. Oversees HR
    2. Oversees internal accounting
  5. Training: work with each department to ensure training and development supports the current staff
  6. Quarterly and annual based compensation reviews
  7. Meet minimum and annual sales targets
