Position: Portfolio Analyst/Associate
Role Overview: Our successful, Denver-based Private Equity client has engaged us to search for a newly created Portfolio Analyst.
Responsibilities: The Analyst/Associate will be assigned dedicated projects as well as help support performance monitoring and strategic reporting initiatives. The Analyst/Associate will be expected to work across multiple projects at a time and must be comfortable interfacing directly with internal leadership as well as leadership at the portfolio companies. Projects will be wide-ranging and include:
- Diligence process management
- Onboarding / integration planning and facilitation
- Strategic planning o Process improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services
- Excellent operational, organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage and process complex operational work
- Experience in a project-based and/or deal-driven environment – i.e., private equity, consulting, transaction, advisory
- Exceptional verbal, written and listening communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills – the ability to work with large datasets, frame and breakdown problems, synthesis themes and insights from analyses. Problem solving includes both quantitative and qualitative information and problems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize without feeling overwhelmed and quickly pivot from task to another o Knowledge of system platforms is a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint skills experience is a plus
