We are looking for an experienced & passionate leader that is focused on employee retention & career development. This is a large plant with over 500 employees and the Plant Manager will empower their teams by delegating suitable assignments. Plant Manager Responsibilities

  • The Plant Manager is responsible for operations of a 500+ staff plant.
  • Will be accountable for plant operations including the following departments: Production, Engineering, EH&S, Maintenance, and Warehousing.
  • Identify strategies to attract & retain employees in a very competitive talent market.
  • Delegate projects and responsibilities to the appropriate departments.
  • Lead meetings with management & staff to increase collaboration and align individual teams with plant-wide & organizational goals.
  • Ensure production meets company & customer standards with cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Provide a safe working environment.

Plant Manager Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership.
  • Proven success in mobilizing teams and inspiring workforces into positive change.
  • Experience driving Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 is beneficial.
