We are looking for someone with prior experience as a paralegal either in the corporate, real-estate, title/escrow, or solar energy field. The ideal candidate is a person who likes a fast-paced environment and is confident in their ability to work independently and take projects to completion with minimal supervision.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Provide general transactional, administrative and organizational support to the Legal Team
· Prepare initial drafts of, and/or perform initial review of, various transactional documents and agreements, including corporate governance documents (resolutions, articles of formation, operating agreements, etc.)
· Real estate support and due diligence, including review of land surveys and title policies, interacting with title companies on searches, recordations and issuance of title policies
· Create new corporate entities and prepare organizational documents; manage organizational structure; apply for and manage all licenses, registrations, DBAs and tax identification numbers as necessary; maintain corporate record books
· Maintain all legal files, closing binders, contracts and corporate documents, including administration and updates to contracts database
· Maintain and update standard contract templates, legal forms and policies and guidelines
· Assist with transactional closings, including prepare and manage closing checklists, coordinate the closing process for various acquisition and project financing transactions
· Route all legal contracts for approval to appropriate parties, signature page coordination and closing set management
· Other day-to-day business and legal affairs related duties and tasks as assigned

Required Skills/Competencies:
· 3+ years relevant experience working as corporate or real estate transactional paralegal. Experience working as a project manager at a full-service law firm or experience working for a title/escrow company can be substituted
· Experience with Corporate Entity formation, registration, and annual reports and other related documentation
· Document management skills (preferred, not required)
· Experience with land use and zoning (preferred, not required)
· Title and survey review in certain markets (Northeast, mid-Atlantic and Illinois) a plus
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational capabilities
· Ability to work independently, plan and take initiative to accomplish objectives in a timely manner with minimum supervision
· Paralegal certification or prior coursework (preferred, not required)
· Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
