What We Are Looking For:

Lucas Group has partnered with our Financial Services client in New York on their search for a Network Engineer.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Cloud-based network architectures (AWS)
• Network Engineering: connectivity, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN & VPN configurations
• Network Address translation

Skills Needed:

• AWS
• Familiarity with trading environment language
• Cisco switches, firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection
• Cloud-based network architectures (web application firewalls and load balancers)
• Software Defined Networks (SD-WAN) and VPN configurations
• Cross connect dark fiber technology
• Kubernetes Clustering and Docker containers
• Linux operating systems
• Logging, monitoring, and alerting tools

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree: Bachelor's Degree
• Work Experience: 5+ years of related work experience
