Mid-Level Associate - Litigation

Lucas Group has partnered with an AMLAW100 ranked firm on their search for a Mid-Level, Litigation Associate. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience managing litigation cases from start to finish. While energy litigation is preferred, it is not required. 

Responsibilities:
  • Manage commercial litigation cases from start to finish
  • Draft complex motions, take depositions, prepare and respond to discovery, prepare for hearings, prepare pleadings
  • Communicate with clients
  • Work closely with Partners and Associates
  • Legal research

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from a top law school
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Admitted to practice in the state of Texas
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial litigation; energy litigation a plus but not required
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills
