Lucas Group has partnered with our client in on their search for a  Marketing Sales Manager with this fast growing medical company!
 

OVERVIEW:

The Marketing Sales Manager is responsible for providing sales support to the Sales and Account Manager teams, optimizing new and existing sales tools to make the sales process more efficient, and continually working to increase LAL placements and LAL adoption. This position will report to Marketing, but will work to facilitate Marketing-Sales communications, complete administrative tasks to support all sales operation activities, train/onboard new sales and account managers, and drive content for sales meetings and customer prospect calls/meetings. Position will also work closely with customers to gather feedback/metrics to continually improve sales efficiency. In this role, the Marketing Sales Manager will act as the point person for communicating to marketing exactly what sales needs are, as well as using analytics to determine the effectiveness of marketing/sales campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for tactical training of marketing resources and functioning as primary liaison to the Sales Teams.
  • Identify and guide Marketing Dept. on strategic plans and tactical tools needed to increase LDD and LAL sales.
  • Conduct Marketing onboarding and training for Sales, Account Managers, and CTS Teams.
  • Manage content, logistics and moderation for all ‘Prospects’ calls and in-person prospect meetings.
  • Manage Marketing-Sales budget and work with Regional Sales Directors to approve all sales meetings, new sales opportunities, regional trade show booths and sponsorships.
  • Facilitate and own the sales library, ensuring the latest revisions of sales decks and sales tools are easily accessed bythe  Sales Teams.
  • Work closely with Sr. Dir, Marketing to ensure messaging, speaking/print opportunities, are aligned with latest sales goals and messaging requirements.
  • Act as point person for all Sales-Marketing communications, including providing administrative support to Sales and Account Managers.
  • Work with VP of Sales to manage content and logistics for all Internal Sales Meetings.
  • Identify and work directly with our customers, their marketing teams, and the Account Managers to ensure onboarding/integration of the technology serves to increase LAL Sales.
  • Identify other opportunities and tools (Doctors, referring OD’s) within the practice/ASC to increase utilization of our technology.
  • Work with VP of Operations to monitor key regional sales trends and customer profiles and routinely provide to Sales/Account Manager Teams to increase sales/adoption

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field preferred
  • Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Ophthalmic industry
  • Past experience in Marketing or Sales

  • None required

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheet Software
