We are pleased to be partnering with a Fortune 500 company on a Maintenance Planner role in Memphis. This is a brand-new role for this site as the organization is growing and making a big investment in their Maintenance & Reliability programs.

This is a new role for the site and the only Maintenance Planner for this location. The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for using their CMMS (Maximo) for planning proactive and preventative repairs to production equipment & facility assets.

Maintenance Planner Requirements

  • Create or edit work orders to verify correct data, documentation, and scheduling have been coordinated for the required repairs.
  • Perform field walk downs for approved work orders to assess the time, materials, tooling, and personnel necessary for the work order.
  • Order all materials and parts needed for repairs and to ensure production equipment is operational.
  • Identify work orders that are duplicates or can be worked together to keep the CMMS clutter-free and to reduce repair times.
  • Interface with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Operations to ensure work order and part orders are aligned with plant objectives.

Maintenance Planner Requirements

  • An Associate or Technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or skilled trades is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 or more years of experience in planning & scheduling maintenance work orders is required.
  • Experience operating a CMMS is required. Experience with Maximo is highly preferred.
  • Working with union maintenance personnel is beneficial but not required.
