Litigation Attorney (Dallas) 

A unique role for an experienced (4+ years) commercial litigation attorney to join a successful small law firm with competitive compensation. A rare opportunity to handle interesting litigation matters in a fulfilling work environment. 

Responsibilities: 

Support lead attorney  

Manage litigation cases, from start to finish 

Court appearances for hearings and trials 

Take and defend depositions  

Draft motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses  

Organize and prepare materials for depositions, hearings, trials and arbitrations  

Manage discovery  

Perform legal research in databases such as Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, and PACER  

Requirements: 

Good academic credentials  

Admitted to the State Bar of Texas

Ability to self-manage and work independently in a busy environment  

Strong communication and writing skills  

Independent problem solver
