Lucas Group has partnered with our valued client, a consumer goods manufacturer in the Chicagoland area that is seeking to add a stellar Commercial Counsel to its team. Our client has a phenomenal culture and the legal team is well positioned and influential.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- The primary responsibility for this position is to draft, review, negotiate and manage commercial contracts including technology, vendor, services and employee agreements.
- As part of a small legal department you will be expected to pitch in as needed and assist with strategy, compliance, etc.
Requirements:
- This position requires a JD and 5+ years of legal experience (prior in-house experience strongly preferred)
- Must be a self-starter and possess a strong work ethic and willingness to go beyond the job description
