The Director of Human Resources requires a talented, driven, experienced HR leader who can lead the HR team and work closely with management across all key HR areas as a business partner. This role is highly visible and will be responsible for managing the day to day HR operations and providing oversight and leadership in the following areas: talent acquisition, talent retention, employee relations, talent management, performance management, organizational development, training, and compensation and benefits for over 1000 employees. Looking for someone that is eager to evaluate all processes and determine where improvements need to be made and create ways to implement change across the organization. Must be able to utilize core skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, communication, influencing and facilitation to implement HR initiatives and effect organizational change.


  • Minimum 15+ years experience in HR, including 3+ years experience in a director-level role supporting a minimum of 1000 employees
  • Strong leadership and accountability mindset with focus on driving individual and team performance
  • Ability to develop strong performance-focused teams committed to delivering consistent results
  • Able to facilitate and influence actions
  • Strategic thinker, demonstrates solid judgment, plans and accomplishes goals, and champions ethical business practices
  • Ability to work in a demanding and dynamic, fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
  • An approachable, professional, positive attitude that leads to the creation of effective relationships with internal and external customers
  • Bachelor’s degree+ required (major in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, Labor Relations, Business Management or related field)
  • Professional Designation PHR/SPHR and/or HR Management Certificate a plus

Job Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources opportunities and establishing objectives in line with organizational objectives
  • Originate and lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance, world-class culture that emphasizes our values (customer value creation, strong implementation, and mutual respect) and goal attainment to support the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce across all levels within the organization
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and implement leadership development, talent/performance management, training, career path and succession planning programs
  • Ensure successful practice of recruitment, selection and on-boarding processes to ensure the placement of top talent
  • Provide HR expertise and oversight to HR team for employee relations and compliance matters
  • Develop and implement HR metrics/scorecards to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide quantitative data for decision making
  • Participate in the design, development and administration of the compensation and benefits programs
  • Handle immigration matters and act as a liaison between management, employees and immigration counsel
  • Assist, advise and coach all levels of management on Human Resources issues
  • Effectively create highly professional written and oral HR communications, including executive summaries, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, public speaking, ER investigation report writing
  • Review and assess tenure, peer, and value recognition programs and create a strategy to drive the right behaviors, celebrate our best and our brightest, and enhance engagement
  • Leverage existing technology and Lean thinking to streamline and automate processes where possible
