The Lucas Group is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Digital Ad Sales Account Executive to add as a key member of our client’s Sales team in New York, NY. Our client owns and operates the leading celebrity and entertainment media brands in the country.

The Digital Ad Sales Account Executive candidate will drive online sales for our client's Entertainment category with over 40 million monthly unique users across platforms according to comScore October ‘18.


· Secure digital advertising from a diverse list of Entertainment, CPG, Beauty, Fashion and misc. accounts, respond to digital RFP’s and prepare PowerPoint presentations and work with Account Managers to develop media plans

· Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key online advertising and media buying agencies

· Sell direct and programmatic (PMP) deals with the trading desks and digital planning teams

· Engage in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to developing customer rapport, onto closing business and servicing accounts with an emphasis on frequent weekly outbound Sales calls in the New York Metro area building relationships and creating awareness


· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field is required

· 2+ years of experience selling online advertising and integrated programs; recent online sales experience required

· Strong knowledge of the New York based digital advertising market and its potential

· Historic experience selling programmatic private marketplace deals

· Comfortable with selling promotions and integrated partnership programs beyond banner advertisements

· Detail oriented, both written and verbally articulate

· A self-starter who possess high energy and solid presentation, creative and analytical skills

· A positive team presence and team collaborator with a “get it done” mentality and the ability to multi-task

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel) as well as

· Clear communication skills internally as well as externally
