Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Set standards and best practices for Database Administration within the company
- Network with other division leaders to ensure business goals are achieved
- Ensure database environments are running at optimal levels
- Troubleshoot and resolve database problems
- Data archival
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3+ years AWS RDS or Aurora experience
- 3+ years management experience
- Advanced Knowledge of: MS SQL or Postgres; scripting languages (perl, python, or PowerShell); common DBA tasks (backups, access policy, data migrations, etc); MS Office programs
- SOX audit experience
