Scope of Responsibilities:
- Design data models
- Database optimization
- Develop stored procedures, table functions, indexes, triggers, views and interfaces using various technologies
- Design and develop interfaces and integrations to move data between systems
- SQL design, review, and tuning
- Software evaluation to help optimize company processes
- Application development
Skills Needed:
- Database Development (tuning, design, implementation, general management)
- ETL experience
- SQL server administration (users, backups, recovers, monitoring, etc)
- SSRS (SQL reports) & SSAS (cubes)
- JSON, XML, and REST API experience
- Common accounting practices
- Programming Languages (Java, Python, VBA)
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or CS preferred
- Work Experience:
- 5+ years as a database developer, database engineer, or similar
- 5+ years SQL experience
- 2+ years database management environment of 1TB or more
- Retail or Restaurant Industry experience preferred
