Title: Contract HR Generalist
Reports to: VP, HR
Location: Remote – but prefer the Chicagoland area
Contract Length: 3-4 months – this is covering a maternity leave
Purpose of Role:
The Contract HR Generalist is to cover a maternity leave for the Corporate HRG. This individual will start ASAP so there is some cross over time for knowledge transfer.
The client has roughly 700 employees globally, about 550 of those in the US. This role will most likely be supporting a population around 300. The majority would be Corporate, but there may be some work around the warehouse and/or manufacturing facilities, all of which are non-union. The focus will be on Employee Relations, Recruiting and the tactical day to day HR work. If they have manufacturing experience, that would be ideal, but not necessarily required. The most critical would be someone tech savvy, speed and action oriented, a level head on their shoulders relative to decision making and partners well with others. Someone who understands high volume, high transaction environments.
